PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The Signature Series Sonore DAC is the result of a two year R&D project collaborating with industry innovators, Raleigh Audio and K&K Audio. Based on their tried and true RAKK dac, our new digital-to-analog convertor is specifically designed to get the best performance possible from our server, allowing 24-bit 192kHz high-resolution file downloads to be exhibited in their true splendor.

The performance of the Signature Series Sonore DAC has a huge soundstage, as in wide and tall and deep that will fill your audio room with gorgeous music. The sound is very relaxed, not at all displaying the digititus sound so common with many modern DACs. To me it's like everything is in its place and nothing is trying to get myattention or nothing is a distraction from the music.

The Signature Series Sonore DAC is designed and manufactured by a true craftsman in the USA. The modules that make up the heart of the Sonore DAC are assembled in the USA with the highest quality parts selected from around the world – parts like Cardas, Lundahl and Audio Note.

DIGITAL FEATURES:
We have chosen to side-step the limitations of current USB implementations by developing a high-performance I2S interface using the PS Audio architecture.
We also support legacy SPDIF and AES/EBU interfaces.
SPDIF and AES/EBU digital inputs are transformer-coupled to provide isolation from the source.
I2S digital inputs are galvanically isolated.
PCM digital audio data is upsampled to 192KHz for the minimum digital-to-analog aliasing artifact generation.
Each digital section has its own separate galvanically isolated voltage-doubler unregulated bulk power supply.

ANALOG FEATURES:
The Active Output Stage is a differential class-A triode parafeed output stage.
The amplifying device is the Russian 6N6P dual triode.
The output transformers are the superb amorphous core Lundahl LL1674 units imported from Sweden.
Analog outputs are galvanically isolated.
Dual-mono high-voltage Minimal Reactance Power Supplies are integrated onto the Active Output Stage board.
The switched attenuator volume control allows direct connection to your power amplifier without needing a preamplifier. It uses a Seiden 32NEG switch imported from Japan and SMT resistors selected to provide the best possible sound.

DIGITAL INPUTS:
All inputs support 16 and 24 bit PCM digital audio data with a sampling rate of up to 192KHz.
One - I2S inputs – PS Audio (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) I2S specification via HDMI cable. Compatible with Sonore I2S music servers and PS Audio Perfect Wave Transport
Two - SPDIF inputs with BNC connectors. Two BNC to RCA adapters are included.
One - AES/EBU input with XLR connector.
